In Memoriam
Cedar Point Communications lost a good friend and strong supporter when Wendell Bailey passed away September 26 after a courageous bout with cancer. Wendell, one of the most recognized experts on cable television technology, was a founding member of the Cedar Point Advisory Board and was instrumental in shaping our technical vision. Wendell’s expertise spanned 40 years and a wide range of communications architectures: After stints with AT&T and MCI, he spent 17 years with the NCTA before becoming Chief Technologist for Advanced Broadband Technology at NBC, Inc. Wendell was a prolific writer, a knowledgeable resource and for those of us here at Cedar Point, a good friend who will be missed.
