MARK DZUBAN, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS

One of the leading experts in cable telephony, Mark Dzuban brings more than 30 years in cable and telecommunications expertise to his current role, working closely with cable system operators and partners to accelerate scalable, cost-effective carrier class voice solutions for the entire cable industry. Mr. Dzuban was the first chairman of Cedar Point Communications’ Advisory Board, and has been actively involved in working with the cable industry to shape the strategic direction of the company.

Mr. Dzuban was actively involved with broadband telephony providers in his role as founder and president of Hatteras House Consulting. Previously, as senior vice president, telephony engineering & operations for AT&T Broadband, he was responsible for AT&T Broadband telephony service implementation in the merged TCI/Media One Systems. The project started with technology development, trials and the implementation of more than 500,000 subscribers and growing.

Prior to that role, Mr. Dzuban served as division manager, AT&T Corporate Business Development Engineering Group, where he developed commercial HFC telephony capabilities for AT&T, supported merger negotiations and represented AT&T at Cable Labs. He was the first employee of the AT&T Broadband Enterprise and also served as chief technical counsel for the AT&T/TCI Merger. During that time, he was responsible for two AT&T Patents. At AT&T Bell Labs Consumer business unit he was the subject matter expert in cable technology driving the development of telephony, Video Telephony and data on cable.

Before joining AT&T, Mr. Dzuban was vice president of engineering/CTO of Cross Country Cable located in Warren, NJ for nearly 12 years. He was responsible for franchising and the engineering and construction of more than 30 franchises in the US, Puerto Rico, Ireland, England, Taiwan and Spain. Mr. Dzuban entered the cable industry in 1968 with Vikoa Inc., a manufacturer of cable network passive and active technologies. He spent nine years in manufacturing supporting product design, sales and marketing for the worldwide deployment of cable technology.

During his career, Dzuban has represented Cedar Point and AT&T on various high-level industry and financial panels focused on cable telephony.
